Photoelectric barriers that operate without contact are particularly suitable, if the space available to secure the access to hazardous areas, locations or entrances is restricted. With an IP65 degree of protection, they have a transmission range of up to 150 m in category 2. Category 4 photoelectric barriers with transmission ranges up to 60 m are equipped with a frequency-modulated infrared light and integrated dirt detection. In connection with additional analysis units, start /restart locking, contactor monitoring or muting functions are available.
